This set was quite the challenge to build in such a small space! There was less than two weeks to get it up on the stage and ready for opening night, and there wasn't room in the scene shop to put it all together before transporting it. With four slamming doors and a swinging kitchen door, we used every inch of space we could so that the actors had enough room to move backstage. I followed David Markson's lead as the designer and scenic painter to bring his set to life.
